Well the travel is catching up - even missed a night blogging. Now sitting in a hotel in Roma!
Yesterday saw us driving down to Windsor castle -faithfully Sally guiding us through the dozen's of round abouts. Took just under 2 hours driving.
Glad we went to Windsor castle - an amazing place - they have certainly done a great job of fixing the fire damage from a few years ago- glad I'm not an English tax payer though!!!
An impressive place - ask when I get home to see the 50+ photos of the place - would have been 100 but they wouldn't let us take photos inside!!!!
Heaps of touring groups of children was the only down side!!!!!! I mean they should be in school working.
We had a short walk around Windsor village then back to find our hotel (another Premier Inn - good rates but no easy access to internet!! )
Braved the bus and underground system and went into Hammersmith to meet up with Shona's cousin Ian again. Had a pleasant meal at the "The Swan"!! Here are the others enjoying the good company.
